NOVA

Youth Performance Troupe

Our NOVA Youth Performance Troupe is for JCC members in grades 2-4. Actors rehearse on Friday afternoons for each semester’s musical performance. This program gives young performers the opportunity to discover their acting strength in a friendly environment.  Whether you are interested in trying out theatre for the first time, or you are experienced on stage, NOVA is the group for you, and it is a great jump-start for our older STARZ Youth Performance Troupe!

The Spring 2014 NOVA Production is Dear Edwina JUNIOR!

Dear Edwina, Jr. follows the adventures of plucky advice-giver extraordinaire Edwina Spoonapple as she directs the neighborhood kids in a series of buoyant production numbers as part of the latest edition of her weekly "Advice-A-Palooza" extravaganza. Performances of Dear Edwina, Jr. will be held in the Holzman Auditorium on May 17th at 7pm and 18th at 4:30pm.  Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased in advance by calling Lauri at (210) 302-6859.

NOVA, which is for JCC Members only, rehearses on Fridays from 4:30-6pm, usually in the Dance Studio. Enrollment is limited; auditions will take place in August.
