Programs

The JCC offers programs through our Arts & Culture Dept. that are geared towards our Family crowd.

The Nova Performance Troupe, for 2nd through 4th graders, is a wonderful way for elementary school students to build confidence and stage experience in a friendly, supportive environment.  We meet on Friday afternoons from 4:30-6pm, where students practice their singing and acting with the show directors. The Starz Youth Performance Troupe is a performance-focused youth troupe for students in 5th grade and above. Starz is a great avenue for those who enjoy theatre arts, whether a seasoned performer or stepping on stage for the first time.  Students rehearse on Friday and Sunday afternoons throughout the semester in preparation for their performance.  For more information on Starz or to purchase tickets, please contact Rachel Rustin at (210)302-6969.

Part of the JCC's Youth Enrichment programming includes our Dance Academy, which offers many levels of classes on different days of the week!  Dancers get to display their talents and what they've learned over the year at our Annual Dance Recital.
