Block and Dreeben School for Young Children

The JCC Block and Dreeben School for Young Children, providing care and education for children ages 4 weeks - 4 years old, is the only Jewish NAEYC-accredited program in San Antonio.

“My child’s teachers have exceeded my expectations. I am amazed at the depth of the activities that were provided for such very young children. Thank you for finding such wonderful teachers and caregivers for my daughter!”  ~Kristin, parent of a 2-year-old.

Our program has maintained a solid reputation in early childhood education:  For almost 20 years our program has been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), which sets the highest standards for early care and education programs, preschools, child care centers and children's day care centers.  Jewish culture, traditions, and values, which are universal and applicable to all,  are integrated into the daily program.

Get more details on our program and philosophy and view our Family Handbook.

Additionally, we are a preferred child care provider in the Child Care Aware (formerly NACCRRA) directory for the Military Fee Assistance Program.

Although you do not have to be Jewish to enroll in our program, membership to the JCC is required.
