A New Spin On | Session Dates & Times Vary

Some days just don’t seem to have enough hours. Between work and family obligations, time to exercise or even focus on an educational experience can fall by the wayside. With ‘A New Spin On’, you can do both, yes, at the same time.

Whether you are new to Indoor Cycling or a regular at one of our spectacular Cycle classes, these active learning opportunities will allow each individual to cycle at their own pace. JCC Sports and Fitness Staff will be available to assist you setting your Schwinn Fitness Cycle bike for your exercise goal, including getting acclimated and utilizing the electronic console to track mileage and calories burned. From an intense ride to a simple cycle and all options in between, the workout is up to you as the main focus of the class is the speaker.

So, suit up in your favorite indoor cycling gear or your preferred leisure wear. A towel and water bottle will be provided to each participant. Bikes are limited so reservations must be made in advance. All classes will take place on the lowest level in the Training Studio.

There are currently four available sessions:

  • Sunday, July 12 | 10am - "Health & Wellness in the Jewish Faith" by Rachel Stern, Director of Education at the Institute for Southern Jewish Life
  • Monday, July 13 | 6pm - "Who Wrote the Bible?" by Rabbi Jeffrey Abraham of Congregation Agudas Achim
