|Get ready to experience Jewish culture in a way everyone can appreciate – by making delectable snacks! Senior Chefs is a new program that will traverse the world of Jewish holidays and their respective foods. No baking experience is needed and participants will receive all necessary ingredients.

|Alzheimer's Association: Moving the Science Forward - Wednesday, May 6 | 10:30am-12pm|
|Now is the time for the public to become part of the solution of Alzheimer's disease. This presentation will review the National Plan to address Alzheimer's disease, some of the new 2015 Facts and Figures released by the Alzheimer's Association, the advancements in Alzheimer's research, the collaborations formed with the collective goal to find a cure, and current studies being done. Advocacy and awareness are key factors to advancing research and finding a cure.|

|Fit 4 Life|
|Fit 4 Life is designed specifically for moderately active seniors and focuses on strength, balance, flexibility, endurance, and promotes independence in aging. Most exercises performed in a seated in a chair. This class is great for anyone going through rehab or in need of non-intense exercise.|
|Game Room Activities|
|Join other seniors for a day of friendly competition, including Mah Jongg and Bridge. Games that involve concentration, reasoning, problem-solving, memory, information processing, and focus will stimulate brain cells and keep neural pathways functioning. Borrow our games or bring your own. Do you prefer to read, listen to music, or enjoy a cup of coffee? The Senior Center offers those activities too!

|Trace your roots, learn your family’s history and build your family tree. Attendees are provided with a database of online research destinations ideal for a beginner. Occasional speakers and information sharing with other attendees make membership of this society a worthy and affordable investment.

|The JCC, in conjunction with Golden Manor Jewish Senior Services, offers a fun bi-monthly film screening at which a new film with some sort of Jewish content is screened the first and third Thursday of the month at 1pm. Call Maya to find out this month's screenings!|
|Join the JCC Yiddish Club and explore and cherish the history of the Yiddish culture, immerse in Yiddishkeit, and socialize with new and old friends. Kibbitz in Yiddish!|
