Cecelia was born in Fort Worth, Texas and started her career in fitness during her summer’s off teaching group exercise.  This enjoyment became a passion and led her to graduate studies in exercise science and a post baccalaureate degree in nutrition at the Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas.  She has more than 30 years of experience teaching multiple formats in group exercise ranging from step, mat pilates, aqua, cycle and numerous other classes.  Cecelia has managed, trained and worked alongside instructors at various facilities managing the needs of members and helping instructors gain experience by coaching staff how to excel in teaching group fitness and personal training.

In addition to group fitness, Cecelia pursued her interests in nutrition and implemented various nutritional programs for those interested in optimizing their physical performance as well as focusing on weight loss and healthy lifestyles.  As a mother of two, Cecelia moved to San Antonio in 2014 where she was employed with the San Antonio Food Bank as a Nutrition Education Coordinator. She enjoys working in the community where she has conducted numerous nutrition seminars and cooking demonstrations varying from work-site wellness to community charitable foundation supported programs.  She believes in maintaining an active lifestyle as she has also participated in numerous high performance competitions ranging from body building, team triathlon, Tough Mudder, and her most recent accomplishment of completing her first half-marathon.
