J-Care


 J-Care is available for interim care for your child as you utilize the J for your Sports and Fitness needs. Access to J-Care is included with your membership and is a member-exclusive service*. J-Care reservations may be made online via your JCC account on the reservation portal or your JCC mobile app up to 2 days in advance. Parents must complete a J-Care Intake form for each child prior to utilizing J-Care. Please familiarize yourself with our current J-Care practices, listed below.

*J-Care is included with every new membership activated after July 1, 2021 and currently enrolled Block and Dreeben School for Young Children families. Members joining the JCC prior to July 1 may upgrade their membership to include J-Care access. J-Care Hours of Operation:

Monday-Thursday 
8:00am - 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Friday 
8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Sunday 
9:00 am - 12:00pm


Practices:

  • J-Care is a member-exclusive service. If you are interested in becoming a member, please visit our membership page.
  • J-Care is available for children between the ages of 8 weeks - 9 years. 
  • Parents/Caregivers must check in at the Central Information Desk (CID) upon arrival at the JCC, and must remain on the JCC/Campus premises at all times while the child is in J Care. Failure to do so is subject to a loss of privilege to use J-Care.
  • Parents must complete a J-Care Intake form for each child prior to utilizing J-Care.
  • J-Care reservations are required and may be made online up to 2 days in advance.
  • Limit of one reservation per child per day.
  • There is a maximum stay of two (2) hours per visit per child. Late pick-ups are subject to a $10 fee per occurrence/child.
  • Cancellations must be made at least two (2) hours prior to scheduled time. No-shows and late cancellations are subject to revocation of access to services. Complete this form to cancel.
  • Upon arrival at J-Care room, Parents/Caregivers must sign in their child(ren) and indicate where they will be on the Campus while their child(ren) is in J-Care. Staff may request that the child be picked-up should any health or behavior concerns arise.
  • Parents/Caregivers must provide all supplies including diapers, wipes, blankets, bottles, etc.
  • Children will not be fed meals while in J Care, but may be given family-provided snacks upon request and as long as the child can feed themselves.
  • Parents of children with challenging behavior including physical aggression, hurting self or others, inconsolable tantrums, extreme limit testing, or refusal to follow J-Care rules, will be asked to pick up their child from the room. If the behaviors persist, a family may have J-Care privileges revoked.
