The JCC provides opportunities to participate in a variety of fitness and wellness activities. Whether you want to lose weight, regain flexibility, develop speed or simply feel good again, we offer a multitude of programs that will benefit you for years to come. 

The JCC's state-of-the-art Hendin Fitness Center is available exclusively to JCC Members.  Our full-service fitness center contains a large variety of Precor cardiovascular equipment, a complete line of Cybex strength training equipment, free weights and more!  Membership also includes access to a variety of group exercise classes such as Zumba, Pilates & Yoga, BodyPump™ and so much more - free to Members.

Small Group Training

If you want to train in a community type environment, small group training may be for you. We offer Fit n' Fierce Total Body Conditioning class, along with our low impact Tai Chi class. 

Senior Fitness

At the J, we have a number of low impact group exercise and small group classes that are great for seniors. Our Senior Social membership includes our Fit 4 Life class which focuses on strength, flexibility and endurance in this class done from a seated position. Gentle Yoga is available for those who have our full Senior membership and is a mixture of challenging and restorative poses tempered by a strong shot of down-to-earth humor and deep knowledge of kinesiology, alignment and therapeutics. Designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind, this class is a great way to end your week. All levels are welcome; please come prepared with your mat and an open mind. Tai Chi is a low impact small group class that is also a wonderful option to help you stay healthy and fit. The JCC is also the proud host of the Texas Senior Games.
